I have created a bunch of email alerts and they all work when simulate and execute them, but have a query.

Question

So for all of  the alerts that i have created i see this in the bottom right on summary-

shows 0 objects even though under trigger condition i clearly have objects selected and it even detects it there too-

When i click "Show list" it shows it-

And thats the same for every other alert as they are all similar to this one (just different interfaces).

And i cant do a proper test since these are production devices. (Can be done if needed but will need to schedule a down window for it).

All devices are cisco routers/switches.

Preview number = stuff that will go off
Scope number = stuff that it could go off on

That simply says that the alert you created is not yet triggered as it not yet fulfilled, once the condition is fulfilled you would see how many objects it will trigger.  You need to review the alert condition.  For testing go ahead and copy node down alert and then changed the condition not equal to down and you will see it will trigger the alert for all nodes that are not down(up, unknown, etc.).

For the Detected objects, I agree with @bobmarley you need to review your scope condition, you are restricting it to a specific node name and a specific Interface name.  The way I see it, it is most probably just one object.  You do not really encounter an interface name that is has a duplicate name on one device(node name).
