unable to add nodes

Question

Hi All,
we have two platforms:
- old platform is composed by: NPM 10.7, NCM 7.2.2 and NTA 4.0.2
- New platform is composed by: NPM,NCM and NTA 2020.2.4

then I will add the devices or nodes manually to the new platform.
I have been trying to add some nodes manually to new platforme Solarwinds using Network Discovery but these devices didn't get added. When I do a test with the community string it shows me TEST FAILED. Used the public community string as well, still doesn't work.

Any thought or suggestions !!

this solution is compatible with  NPM 12.2 ....not with NPM 10.7

and my question is clear:

how export nodes or devices,data from old version( NPM 10.7,NCM 7.2.2, NTa4 4.0.2) to the latet version 2020.0.4

This is good advice from @christopher.t.jones123 if you need to check that its not Orion, you can verify the SNMP using the SNMP walk utility:

It's a simple client to confirm that your community should also work in Orion. 
If you want to test that the device is listening on port 161  (to rule out firewall issues) you can run a powershell command from the Orion server

Test-Netconnection -ComputerName x.x.x.x -Port 161

Where x.x.x.x is the IP you want to verify traffic can pass on that port.
