Tracking the cause for a SQL server Update/Save Errors

Question

We have NTA & NPM. A month ago we starting getting SQL Update/Save errors due to delays. Antivirus is excluded from the SQL files.

How can I use either NTA or NPM to track the cause? The error in the app has a time and date stamp for the error.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

In order to investigate application errors you would need SAM (or DPA to deep-dive into the inner workings of SQL Server). NTA & NPM are really not the proper tools for the job.
