How to send check mail every 24th hour

Question

After Orion stopped sending emails, and we had to reboot it, we want to have it send an email every 24th hour telling that email is working.

We can't get this to work.

Trigger Condition:

Trigger Alert when all of the following apply

Node Staus is equal to up

Node name is equal to 192.168.0.2 (Orion itselves)

Do not trigger this action until...  10 sec.

Reset Condition: (Do you need this one?)

Node Status is equal to Up

Time of Day:

08:00 to 08:05

Sorry for the delay in responding.  If you just want an email to fire to serve as verification that email notifications are working, I would create an email alert that isn't tied to a node status.  I would pick a condition that you know will always be true, and have it fire off an email as the Trigger Action at a specific time of day.  You could also use a Custom Property to accomplish this by defining a custom property that you know will always be true.

If you're still having trouble with this after trying my suggestion, go ahead and open a support ticket and someone should be able to assist.
