Speed change on ports

Question

Hello,

Every morning I see some messages like these on my NPM console:

Any idea why there are notices about speed change all the time ? I suspect the NICs have problems dealing their auto-speed with the Gigabit switch, but I'm not sure how to interpret that.

I think this happens because the gig ports on the switches report 100Mbit when they're down from IF-MIB, and when they're up they change to gig.
I see this as well and just ignore it as background noise.
