Reporting

Question

Hello,

I have been using Orion for some time to monitor our servers.  I have been asked recently to provide a detailed report of the servers in our datacenter.  I need to include one month of data for CPU, RAM, and hard disk utilization.

Orion not only monitors our data center servers, but all of the servers in our remote locations as well.  Can someone tell me how to tune a report to provide this is a easily readable format?  I do not want to print out a report for each server.

I found the answer myself, after waiting 6 days for someone to answer my question in this forum.  The answer is to use the Orion report writer.

Hi Karl, welcome to the Solarwinds forum.

The beauty of a forum is you don't need to wait for an answer to your question, as it has mostly likely already been asked and answered.
By using the search function and looking for "report" you will find many answers to this question as well as some cool customized reports you can use with Report Writer.
