'Condition Must Exist For More Than' option missing from some alerts

Question

On some, but not all, of the alerts I'm creating the option 'Condition Must Exist For More Than' option check box is missing.  I haven't, so far, been able to discover a common thread in the ones in which it is missing.  The curious thing is that when I'm editing them and the trigger page is coming up I can see the option there but when the page finishes loading it is gone.

Does anyone have any idea on why this might be?  Thanks.

this is because in your example you are creating an event-based alert. so the "Condition must exist for more than" is not really applicable, once it sees the event it will trigger the alert
