Alert Precedence

Does an advanced alert have higher precedence/suppress a Basic alert that is the same.

Example: Node Down configured both as basic and advanced. only advanced and it's actions trigger.

The two systems are independent. In your scenario, both should trigger.

Unfortunately that is not the case for me. Say a port or node goes down. I have both a Basic and Advanced Alert set to trigger but the alert is only showing up in the Advanced Alert tab when triggers. Mind you, I'm running the 30 day eval.

Could you post screenshots of your configured triggers? Maybe they're not quite the same....
