What would be the best way to set up a heartbeat email that get sent out each day by Orion that says Orion is functional?

Couldn't you just enable the option to "Execute this Action repeatedly while the Alert is triggered" for the alert action and set it to execute once every 24 hours/1 day or am I completely misunderstanding this?

Not by using Adv. alerts, we do have the Hot Standby Server that's designed to fill that role.

Right... You refered me to my own posting.

I guess I should be a little more specific.  I have a heartbeat message that occurs every day that is a Basic alert monitoring for changes in CPU Utilization and resetting on changes in CPU utilization.  The issue I have is that if I make the window for the alert too large, we get multiple heartbeat messages, and if I make it too small it sometimes doesn't send a message at all.  It just doesn't seem like a very reliable method.

My question, more specifically, is there a better way to kick off a heartbeat message every day using an advanced alert?  I haven't found one yet.
