NPM Topology Unknown Links

Hi All,

We have recently purchased NPM to monitor our network and I am having trouble getting link statistics between different switches.

All links display as above, meaning I get no statistics on utilization etc. They are all detected however.

Any advice?

You need to select the uplink interfaces into monitoring. To do this go into Manage Nodes and find the node in question. Tick the box next to it and select List Resources. Then find the uplink interfaces and tick them and click on Submit. It will now fill in the Unknown details with the port details.
