Inserting Line breaks in alert macros? (Ver 8)
FormerMember
Does anyone know how to force a new line, (crlf) in email or pager alerts being sent out? For example, I'm including several pieces of information from custom fields in my alert messages and to make things easier to read, I would like them on separate lines. Putting the information on new lines in the message window doesn't seem to work.
Note: I just tried doing this same thing with the old V7 alerting engine and it worked as expected just by formatting the email as I wanted in the window.

Does CTRL-Enter work?

Doesn't seem to. I also tried shift-enter as well as some other codes that I've used before to insert line breaks, \n, etc...no dice

I cut and paste my message text from notepad. Works fine. Also seems to work fine for {Enter}.
Thanks,
