Customize Network Trend Chart Plot Styles

Hi folks,
I have been able to duplicate Network Avg RT & Total Bytes Transmitted within NetPerfMon.Charts and add new resource files to call them. I want to change the plot style to Best Fit Curve, but everthing I have tried does not produce the required report.
Any advice on this would be great..
