Any idea when the update Wireless Management pack will be out?

I'm still running 7.8.5, and we are using the report scheduler, the MOM integration and the polls per second tuning

Since there are separate versions for 7 & 8, do I need to do anything special to remove the v7 components before upgrading to Orion 8.0.1 ?

The v8 compatible version of the Wireless module has been released.

You should uninstall the additional components using their uninstallers in the uninstall group. Then you can upgrade to V8 and install the V8 version of your desired additional components.

Will I have to recreate all of our scheduled reports or is there a way to export or save them so that I can just activate hem once I upgrade ?

Doug,

We will not delete any reports that you made during the uninstall so they will still exist after the update. The update will move any reports in the standard location to where they need to be for V8. The only thing you may have to do is point any of your Windows scheduled tasks to the new location.

As always, you should back up any files of concern before doing any updates.

Hi,

We have ORION V7 and recently contacted Solarwinds Support because we need to download ReportScheduler-Release-V7.exe. Unfortunately, our paid support ended long ago and they’ve redirected us to thwack. I’ve seen your post with URL’s to download several additional components and among them, the one we need. On the customer portal we can only access ReportScheduler-Release-V8.exe but it fails to run with Orion 7.8.

Can you help us?
