Getting Custom Poller data into chart form! ARGH

Ok, so I'm trying (desperately) to map a few things for which I have setup custom pollers. I have also assigned the custom pollers to the specific devices. I just can't for the life of me determine how to chart (graphically represent) any of the data collected by the custom pollers.

If anyone could assist, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've tried reading the manual (which really feels pretty circular BTW) to no avail.

I'm *attempting* to chart custom poller data. Where I am at right now, I can't even tell that the poller is collecting any data at all!

When you
set up your custom poller, you have the option to choose the data type as rate,
raw value, or status. Depending on how the OID is designed, you may get
better results on the charts if you change this value. You can adjust it
from within the Orion System Manager by going to File -> Custom MIB Poller
and editing the poller you have created.

One way to verify whether or not
customer poller data is being collected is to check the database.

If you go into the database supporting Orion NPM there are 2 tables there that
you can query to verify.

those tables are

CustomPollerStatus (gives current results)

and

CustomPollerStatistics (gives historical data)

Ah, there it is I suspect. What does that process look like? I'll check the tables now to see if the pollers are indeed working (the tests did succeed, so hopefully they have been collecting data, just not displaying it?).

This is more difficult than I had expected.
