CPU Polling

Hello, i am running Orion NPM 9.5. Question i have is on the CPU Basic Alert.

I am trying to set to trigger CPU Utilization alert if it reachs above 35%. From what i have read, CPU is using SNMP polling, which is "Collect Statistical" and the current setting is 10 min interval. How does that interval relates to "Node Polling" interval, which i have set to 1 min. Does that mean if my device reach above 35% for more than 1 min, i would get an email alert or does it have to sustain that for 10 min?

The alert will trigger any time the CPU is detected to be over 35% in a statistics poll. It could peak up past 35% between polls and you will not see it.

so the CPU is only affected by the Statistical polling only and not the other polling?

Excuse me for butting in, but if I understand the original question, he was asking if the CPU was responsible for both polling (ICMP) and statistics (SNMP). The answer is yes, is it not?
