Dashboard Customization

Question

Hi Friends,

I have customized a "mydashboard" (home) for particular user.

After customization i can see few more based on global customization page , but i don't want to keep all the information for that particular user.

Ex. I want to customize only "All group" information not more than that.

Even i have used the option in user creation page "Home Page View" -- Group summary and Group details summary option.

But i can few more option over there along with All group name like "groups with problem" "Active group alert" " Group last 25 event". but i want only "All Groups"

is there any option for that? Could pls share your suggestion to fix this issue.

Hi hpstech,

Find a solution for this case, if have any alternate please share it.

I have provided local user access and  given dashboard write access to him for that particular object.

Now, i have logged solarwinds dashboard with local user credential and edited the "Group summary" in  home page (which are all the option we wan).

Once done, i just logged with my admin account and removed the dashboard write for that user.

Only disadvantage is " Any changes made to a View are seen by all Accounts with the same View"

So you have created a new view for a user that you set limited objects in their account, but the user is seeing more than the limited objects?

Have you limited the page itself to a limited object view?

Can you post redacted Screenshots?

Yes, i have allowed only few object group to that user to access.

Now , i just want to customize my above requirement on dashboard itself.
