Syslog Viewer Will Not Start on Orion v8

After upgrading to Orion v8, when I attempt to launch the Syslog Viewer application so I can configure it, I get the following Windows error:
DDE Server Window: SyslogViewer.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x100d79e0" referenced memory at "0x0000000c". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program.
Click on CANCEL to debug the program.
I am running MS Windows 2000 Server with SP4 installed and the Syslog Viewer application was working fine until I upgraded Orion to v8.
