Archival Steps in Orion Database

Greetings everyone,

I'm curious if anyone else is having performance issues with the Orion database, namely with the side of the database. My initial inclination and still a possibility are to archive data out of the database thus cutting down on the amount of on-line data.

Has anyone archived data out of the Orion database? If so could you offer some advice? I'm leery about blindly truncating tables.
