Custom view for a specific group of nodes

Hi,

Good day to everyone! I have created a view for DELL UPS nodes but unfortunately if I apply the created view by going to "views by device type"

a number of dell Nodes are also affected. Is there a way to create a view that can only be applied to a group nodes (e.g DELL UPS)?

njiquezon You should be able to create a view, and then manually assign it to any nodes you wish. Simply go to manage nodes, select the nodes you want to use a different view with, click edit, and then choose the view you want those nodes to use.

Yes. You can specify specific individual nodes. Just look for 'View Limitation' on the specific view that you created, select edit, and choose 'Group of Nodes'. (see screen shots below). You can then choose the individual nodes that you want to apply that view to.

Are you on NPM 11.5.x? Right now you cannot use Views by Device type as view will be applied to all dell devices.

You may try to change the machine type/vendor of your DELL UPS through Device Studio, then use "views by device type"

I tried this but the nodes that aren't selected will not be viewed by anyone
