Hello,

We have the NPM (9.5 SP5) and an additional polling server, to load balance do I need to stop a service each time I need to organise what nodes go to which polling engine?

Also shoudl a polling engine server be unreeachable will the nodes use the other polling engine?

should be able to just stop the NetPerfMon polling Service.

Ans. It's one of the best practice (stop services) when you transfer a node or group of node from one polling engine to another

2. Shoul a polling engine server be unreachable will the node use the other polling engine?

Ans. No, unless you manually transfer the node from the online polling engine. and Yes, if you have standby polling engine, which will serve as fail-over when 1 of your polling engine is unreachable.

standby polling engine comes with a license, meaning it is purchase separately
