Custom View Tables - Finding out if they are in use

Question

Is there a way to find the intersection between the "views" table in Orion and whichever table references it?  What I'm trying to do is delete unused views, but I want to find out if they are in use.  I've tried to query the "nodes" table but can't see any relative information.

There is no really efficient way to see in the database which views are in use or not in use.  Views can be tied to user accounts, there can also be rules defined for views by machine type, or views by applications in SAM, and at the individual object level you can over ride the settings and specify a view to use, plus people can just still manually enter a link to a view if they fuss with the url in their browser or bookmarked that view at some time in the past.  Summary views aren't tied to anything, and just exist, if nobody goes to that page then it isn't "in use" but nothing in the database would let you know that.

The only thing you can really do is review them on a case by case basis and then ultimately use the a scream test method, save a backup of the views table, delete the ones you think you don't need and see who starts yelling.
