Using Wildcards in Network Sonar Discovery

Question

I am fairly certian the answer is no, but is there a way to use a wild card in the network Sonar Discovery?  I am trying to find the easiest way to discover our network devices without including the dhcp pools.  We have more than 750 subnets but on the majority of these we only care about a few devices.

I was trying to find a way to say discover everything from 10.*.*.1 - 10.*.*.4  and also 10.*.*.99 - 10.*.*.101.  When we add a new store it gets it's own subnet.  So I would like to discover these automatically but I only care about a few of the devices on each network.

It would also might work if I could say discover everything in 10.*.*.* and ignore 10.*.*.100-255

you could use excel and create a big fat list containing the individual IPs (256*256*4, wow!), but that might be an ugly solution.

You can add the devices manually by pasting the information during the discovery wizard.

Or,  what may work out better, is if you have an snmp string on those devices which i assume are network gear which is different than the rest of the subnet.  Then you can choose "use snmp only"  on your "discovery settings"  and you will ignore the rest of the network which doesnt respond to your admin community string.

This would have the additional benefit of being able to auto-discover new devices as you add them in the future no matter what ip address they reside on as long as you add your admin community string.

That is not a good solution.  I would have to ignore more devices than the sonar would add.  So at this point it sounds like the Sonar is not of any benifit I should add the devices manually?
