How do you removed devices from UnDP? Also why does interfaces appear under PowerSupplySource (it seems that would be at the node level not interface)?
Thanks in advance.
You don't remove a device. You can navigate to a device in the tree in the ALL NODES pane (upper left). Go to the target device and drill down until you see a folder called "Pollers". Right-click on the target poller and select Unassign.
Or, right-click on the target poller under ALL DEFINED POLLERS and select Assign. Then you'll see the assign list and you can add or remove assignments as desired.
I followed your indication but you can only assign pollers massively, unassign is not possible, isn't it?
Yes, you can use the UnDP UI to unassign multiple pollers at once.
Can you tell me how, please?
You can Unassign Poller from a Device Individually as previously mention by Denny above by:(1) - Browsing to a Device in "ALL NODES -> DeviceName ->Pollers" and Right Click a Poller and Unassigned that one Poller on that one Device.(2) - Or you can use ALL DEFINED POLLERS (Bottom Left Pane) to Assign/Unassign Poller to 1 Device or MANY Devices.
TO UNASSIGN A POLER MASSIVELY:So For Instance you have 20 Devices Assigned to 1 Poller, you want to Un-Assign a Poller Massively from these 20 Deviceswithout having to find each of these Devices in list and unticking them separately.
To do this, Browse to any Poller, Right Click and Assign.A Window Opens "Assign PollerName to Nodes"Choose a GROUP BY (Vendor by Default)
(A)Tick "All Nodes" - All Devices get assigned to that Poller.UnTick "All Nodes" - All Devices unassigned to that Poller (included 20 Devices Previously Assigned)Click Finish.
(B)Or If you only want to Unassign a Group of Devices, then E.G. :Tick "Cisco" - All Cisco Devices assigned to that Poller.UnTick "Cisco" - All Cisco Devices unassigned to that Poller.Click Finish.
(C)Or If you only Want to Un-Assign 3 of 20 Devices Assigned to that Poller:You will have to Manually find and Untick these 3 Devices separate from the List.Click Finish.
Thanks.
