Y-Axis graph scaling problem

Question

Hi,

I am trying to add a custom poller graph resource to my NPM. The custom poller is polling Cisco devices for current temperature.

When I add the graph to my installation NPM zoom on the y-axis so I only se the part of the graph that changes. I wan't to se the whole graph from 0. Below I have a screenshot of an other NPM installation where the graph is shown correctly. Under that is my graph that zooms. What am I doing wrong?

Any thoughts / ideas is apreciated.

I realize this is an older thread. I found this whilst searching for a way to configure the "Y" axis of a chart in a UnDP I am using to graphically represent the receive signal strength in an 802.11 wireless network device. The "Y" axis coordinates appear to be dynamic by default, which is ok for most purposes. Our team leader would like to see this axis represent a fixed range of signal levels rather than be dynamic. I found the charts file you mentioned. One question I have is what are you using to open and configure the charts in this file? A second question is will any changes be applied to all custom UnDPs that I choose to graph with a chart?

Not excactly Byrona.. You can configure all chart settings in the CustomPollers-NetPerfMon.Charts file in the Orion directory. The 'correct' chart that lundpetersen has posted is from my Orion installation - I've been doing this little trick since Orion V8 as far as I recall :)

There is currently no way to manually configure the way that the graph scales.  There is already another thread on this where a Product Manager has logged an enhancement request for this.
