Report - Trying to find the Cisco Model Number

Hi

I want to create a report similar to what I was getting from Cisco LMS.

I want to include the model number of the Cisco devices in my report but strangely in the Cisco Chassis section where there is the serial number, there is no model number. Please see attached screenshot.

There is also no total ram field as well, only free RAM.

Please provide some guidance.

Andre,

It looks like, perhaps, the correct MIBs are not loaded to discover the model number.  If you go into the SolarWinds customer portal, you can find the updated MIB database.  Download that, load it to the server, then rediscover the device and see if that info is populated.  If so, go to the Jobs and run the Hardware Inventory job or the Cisco inventory job, or whatever you want.

Yes, We do have NPM. The report above is just part of the nodes table, so NCM shouldn't be necessary. But I can't say for sure since I am not coming from a non-NCM perspective. What was the result you got when you tried the SQL script above?

If you want to see what is in the actual table, and then choose columns from the table, enter this SQL script, and then preview the data, scroll left-right, the table is long.
