How does NPM determine the node category?

Hi,

I am running into a weird issue when using NPM. I have a number of Red Hat Enterprise Linux Servers and Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstations that are monitored by NPM. When looking at the node category in node details, it categorizes both Linux servers and workstations as "server". Is there a configuration I need to change on my workstations to get them to be classified properly through SNMP polling?

There is no workstation classification, it is server/network/other.  Functionally this classification controls if certain widgets related to appstack and the agent will show up on the node details page since that stuff doesn't apply to network devices.  Since a workstation is basically like a server not a switch for the purposes of appstack and such it doesn't seem like there should be any reason to mess with that.
