Orion Bulk Field Changes

Question

It would be extremely helpfull if there was more flexibility for bulk changes. I realize you can do some bulk node changes through the web interface. For example, changing the SNMP version on multiple nodes. We should be able to select multiple nodes from within the System Manager application and make bulk changes.

It’s definitely great to have full admin functionality from the website, but the website is just not as reliable as the console. For example the page refreshes ever so often. I import all of my devices through the console using the discovery wizard. It just makes sense to have the same functionality in both the website and console.

We have no plans to add this functionality to system manager.  Our strategic direction is to move all admin functionality to the web console.

Is there a particular reason you need it in System Manager?  Or is it just preference?
