I have a fairly big Orion DB and there has been an I/O error on the hard drive. Now I can't "Attach..." the .mdf files I get a silly error from SQL 2005.
So I like to know what my options are? Should I re-install and re-configure everything? Can I save part of my install? For example, can I same the website? I copied the entire inetpud directory, but after I re-install, surely i can't just add all my nodes and overwrite the inetpud directory or can I?
I don't have a backup of the DB (lesson learned) so my options are slim.
Can you guys suggest something before I format and re-start?
Thanks
