Need help for trigger condition for Custom port utilization

Hi Team,

I am configuring custom threshold for port utilization as there are some ports for which alerting required is different. I have set at the port level by over riding..

But m not able to understand which option i should select under trigger condition to create an alert for Warning and Critical threshold. There are different variables like Warning value reached, threshold etc...

So can some one please help..

From the screenshot use critical value reached = true, it will be aware of your custom threshold for each interface and react appropriately.

Please select "Status" parameter as you have provided custom thrsholds, the interface status also changes respectively.

Status equal to Warning/Critical as trigger condition should work.

Status will work? I m altering for utilizatiion of ports.

pratikmehta003 - Yes it should work anyhow i haven't tested for interface but did for components in SAM module.

You can test it by giving small values and alert yourself to confirm

SAM it would definitely work. But not sure for this case.

I will still try testing and I also found other variable called critical or

warning value reached...will wait for some more feedback..

thanks a lot... i did observe this and i think its working fine.. will keep it under observation...
