Moving Orion Database

It seems like every issue that I talk to support about their answer is always to make sure the SQL database and the poller aren't running on the same machine. (NetFlow blowing up the server, App manager not logging, etc.)
I asked support how I can move the database to another server without breaking anything and they sent me the document that shows how to move the entire server.
Has anyone successfully moved just the database to a different server without losing data or settings?
If so, how was it accomplished?

Backup the DB
Move it to the new server
Restore the DB via Orion DB Mgr or SQL Ent. Mgr.
Run the Config. Wizard
Point Orion to that DB-
Your data and settings will be restored.
