Alerting Frequency Problem

Hi All -

I've looked high and low for this, can't find exactly what I'm looking for.

I was testing my Percent Volume Used Alert, as well as my Node Status (up/down) alert.

I copied a bunch of files to hit my threshold of 80% volume utilization, it kicked out an alert once. No more alerts were kicked out and I left it over night.

I went into Active Alerts in NMP, and sure enough, only 1 alert was listed, so only one email was sent to my blackberry over night.

I don't want to be flooded with emails, but then again, I don't want to be not warned. Where is the setting to configure "frequency of alert emails sent" (for lack of a better term)?

As a side note, I am also having problems with alerts reaching the people that I listed in my Actions tab. I'll have to investigate why some people are getting the email, and some arent.

That looks like it should work. A sample of how we alert on windows disk volumes(the whole alert condition is not shown);

Jason, you will need to set up alert escalation. There is a tab in your email EMail/Page Action.

Ohh I see it in Advanced Alerts, nothing like that for Basic Alerts eh?
