quote:Originally posted by gform400I guess I left a few things out from my initial posting... The server that houses the Orion installation also houses the installation for;Application monitorWireless monitorSyslogCirrus configuration monitor Solarwinds toolset... As well as the Beta Alerting Engine...We are looking at upgrading to the latest version of the Orion Product...From what I can see, the Toolset (Engineers edition), Cirrus Configuratioin Monitor, and Orion installs to the Solarwinds folder... The Application Monitor, the Wireless Monitor, and the SYSLog service installs to the Network Performance Monitor v7 folder.... And the Beta Alerting Engine installs to the Network Performance Monitor v7 folder as well...Now here is the dilema... I have seen a post that says to delete the Solarwinds folder, as well as a post that says to delete the reg keys that refer to the OrionNetPerfmonv7 key as well...What is the best course of action for performing an upgrade to the latest version of Orion...
I have installed 7.8 version and I want to update to 8.5 version ... I understood that I need to upgrade by little steps .. where I can find the 8.0, 8.1, etc old versions ??
Best regards
