Multiple CPUs

Question

I searched and did not find any resolution to this.  How can I monitor CPUs independantly on multi-CPU servers?  As you know, each CPU handles different things like IO, system processes, etc.  I'd like to watch them seperately, not averaged out.  -Scott

Here is the OID I found for HP servers running Windows.  It seems to grab the current CPU utilization from each processor/core.  The next few OIDs in the tree are for 5 min, 30 min, and hour

MIB Name: CPQHOST-MIB:cpqhoCpuUtilMin

OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.11.2.3.1.1.2

What types of systems are you wanting to monitor these stats on? We're working on some of the pieces for the custom MIB polling engine now and the more information that we can get about the data you want to collect, the better.

Do you know the specific OIDs that you're wanting to use and which OSs these apply to?
