NPM logins in ESXi event logs

Hello! Fairly new NPM user, first time poster.

We use NPM to monitor our VMware ESXi servers. The trouble is, if "Polling for VMware" is enabled, the vCenter "Tasks & Events" tab for the server becomes filled with messages about (successful) login attempts from NPM. As a result, that screen only shows the last 15 mins. of messages, rendering it largely useless.

So, short of changing how often NPM polls the servers, is there any way to stop these login attempts from showing up?

Also, I'm a little confused why it's trying to login so often to begin with. "Node Status Polling" is set at 120 seconds and there are no other polling times I can find that are shorter than that.
