For some reason, I am unable to Mute alerts on any of my nodes and don't see anywhere where there is an option to add it as a feature. I also do not see Maintenance Mode in the Manage Nodes section.
Any help is appreciated!
I think mute and perfstack were released in orion 2017.1 and NPM 12.1.
I was able to find release notes for NPM 12.1: NPM 12.1 Release Notes . Looks like these features were released together.
I would suggest reviewing the account permissions for Unamanage Objects and Mute Nodes, but the permissions set should be the same. It's hard to tell from the context of your screenshot, but it looks almost like you're in a database in an AppInsight template instead of the node itself, I may have spent a lot of time in this resource unmanageing databases...
unmanage and mute should require the same permissions, this is also my thought on this. And yes you seem to be right as well, that the screenshot seems to be an application monitor, not a node.
Not sure I'm following - I am in the node, managing it as I normally would. This is what all the nodes look like when you click on them beyond the "Manage Nodes" section. I've worked elsewhere where things certainly looked differently, so I'm unsure if the GUI needs some alterations but I wouldn't know where to begin with that...
If it were me:
1) Try to delete the Node Management Widget from your View and re-add it.
2) Check the Account Management and be 100% sure the account has the right to Manage/UnManage Nodes as well as Mute/UnMute Alerts.

I would have expected to see Performance Analyzer in that list too. What version is this instance running?
