scanning

Hi !

Dear friends i am scanning a network i have 600+ switches (mostly cisco) and around 100+ routers all are configure with snmp

when i run network discovery it detects pc alos is there any way where i can scan only snmp enable devices (mostly routers and swites) i dont want to add  pc in network to be monitor how i can do that ?

Is orion detect layer 2 devices ,bescase some layer 2 switches are not be see in cisco cateroty they are in unknown section /is suppose to in cisco catogry ?

while network discory fast and slow scan bar matter

scan i add network devices by mac address or sort  by mac address

Yes.  If you're having a problem with a specific box, you should open a Support ticket.

I don't think your question is clear enough.  What exactly have you done?  What did you expect to happen?  What actually happened?  What information do you need to proceed?
