Alert: Exchange IIS Service is DOWN on ${NodeName}

but ${NodeName} doesnt is not even running Exchange IIS.

What could be wrong?

Is it possible that someone added this server to the poller and alert, not knowing that this service doesn't need to be monitored on this particular device? Can you simply remove it from the poller/alert?

please elaborate. Where do I find the poller?

What I've done:

Added the servers using the the "New" button in Orion Network Performance Monitor.
I then added the server to the Orion Application Monitor and selected the services I would want monitored. (Exchange isnt an option since its not installed on this server, nor is it even present in the list of services to monitor).
I then set an advance alert whose Trigger condition reads:

" Trigger this Alert for any Application that matches the following condition"

Trigger Alert when all of the following apply

Application Name is equal to Internet Information Server

Application Status is equal to Down

Any ideas?

We are not running the Application Monitor, so perhaps someone else in Thwackville can help. The only suggestion I can offer in the meantime is to exclude the nodes in question from the alert.

can someone explain how are my alert tells me that IIS is down and then four minutes later its up. Only thing this server is not running IIS.

What can it be?
