UnDP Table Ordering

Question

Greetings Thwackinites!

Just curious if anyone has a fix for this.  I've added some UnDP's to devices, but when I add the tabular resource, it (seemingly randomly) chooses the order to display the information.  I have gone so far as to add a number to the label so they will be in the correct order in the selection list, but when I add them, they go all wonky.  Anyone know a fix for this?

Just found this today... THANKS zbynek.botlo​ for your answer in this post:  UnDP Columns Display !

This should be possible by changing the 'ColumnNumber' column of the 'CustomPollers' table directly in the database. Here's simple example of the SQL query which should help you to do that:

UPDATE CustomPollers

SET ColumnNumber = 10

WHERE UniqueName = 'Tx_Bytes'

Executing this will move the 'Tx_Bytes' poller to the position 10. By default UnDPs have the ColumnNumber set to 0.

I had a suspicion they might be ordered by the SNMP OID used, but I just tested that and can confirm that it is indeed not alphabetical, nor is it based on OID.  I also tried sorting by every column in the database and none of them seemed to match up to the order that I got on my combined table.  Sorry I couldn't pin down the actual system SW is using but maybe that helps you to eliminate some possibilities.  Maybe someone else will have better luck.
