Syslog and Event Viewer not populating with new messages!

Question

I have Orion NPM v 9.1 and last night syslog and Event viewer stopped displaying new messages.  I am still receiving new e-mails from alerts I created within System Manager and syslog viewer, which means syslog, traps or events are not being blocked by a FW issue.  I did notice that this service will not start up..."SolarWinds Orion Module Engine service"  If I start it up, it will start and then it will turn itself off.  Not sure if this service has anything to do with what is going on with my Event and Syslog viewer.  This is of course causing the Web GUI to not populate the new messages.  Any suggestions?

I was running SQL express, this has a max of 4GB of space.  I ran out of space.  I moved the DB to a different server with SQL 2005 on it and everything is running smoothly.
