I just modified a map on our Orion 9 servers and now it shows up on the page as a "1" instead of the map.
I tried to clear the web cache - same thing.
H E L P !
I've seen this many times. I've had to reboot the box to resolve...but opened a ticket on it and this is what they suggested...I haven't had time to implement yet, but here ya go (based on old ticket #33508):1. Changed the Maps rate from 36 seconds to 2 mins2. Page refresh from 1 min to 2 min3. Change the Poolsize in COM+ to 54. Changed the expiration from 0 to 5 mins This will allow the auto drop and load so to prevent a it hanging.Regards,Matthew HarveySolarWinds Support Team
I've had this problem many times pre SP3 and the fix was to always run the Orion Configuration wizard on the website. Try that and see if your problem is solved. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what causes the problem in the first place.

I have had the same problem. I notice that it is when the dllhost.exe process called by the solarwinds_website is utilizing over a gig of memory. Actually when it hits about the 1.5gb mark, it tends to crash the site or causes all maps to go funky, including just displaying 1.
The two resolutions given here both work, or you can just kill dllhost.exe . Both restarting and reconfig would do the same thing, so that is why they both work.
In the past I have implemented some config change to either IIS or some COM function, I cant remember, but it would recycle the dllhost.exe every 24 hours so it wouldnt hit that 1.5gb mark, but sometimes it gets there in under 24 hours and I have to manually end it. No worries, it kicks right back in, and everything is back to normal.
