VMWare VSphere 4 support

Hi there,

Fairly urgent request here. We are currently setting up a new exchange environment on VSphere 4 and we need to know when we will be able to monitor the ESX environment that exchange sits on.

We need to have an idea of when the next version of NPM will be out which has VSphere 4 support. Even a ball park figure would be good. Will be likely be out before Christmas?

Ditto. I'm quite quite interested in this, too, especially since it's one of Orion's selling points.

I can't give time frames, but as you can see in this post here, this is something we are working on here. If you want to be apart of the beta and RC program, please let me know

When will we see 4.0 support? I paid big $$$ more my renewal and I really need this.

Let me start by saying that (if you haven't guessed it already;-) ESX 4.0 support is our absolute #1 priority for our upcoming release, and as noted on this post, the work is already well underway.

We plan on going into a Release Candidate phase for 10.0 so we're talking weeks not months for existing customers on maintenance.

If you are interested in seeing an early preview demo of this functionality, that is certainly something we can arrange.

My company went ahead and purchsed FogLight by Quest to monitor the VMWare environment.

Is there anyway to know how much overlap I will have when the Orion upgrade is out?

Anyone out there use FogLight?

I need to make FogLight a paper weight :-)
