Export Syslogs

I'm currently running NPM 12.5 and all our switches send logs back to NPM and the new Log analyser.

My issue is that Cisco have asked for logs for some debugging we've done for one of our switches and for the life of me I've been unable to find a way of exporting the logs to any for of file.

Is this possible in 12.5 and if so how do I go about getting the export Cisco want?

Looks like it might not be available for the "free" or unlicensed version. I just checked my QA instance that doesn't have a LA license and I see your screenshot, but my licensed production instance has three additional buttons to the left that include Export. Both of my instances are LA 2.1.

In a pinch you can get the data from the database directly. The messages themselves are in Orion.OLM.LogEntry if you're getting it from SWQL Studio.

There's an export button at the top of the main Log Viewer page, i don't have any data in my lab so I'm not entirely sure about the format it pumps it out in, but I'd start there.

Where do I find this export button?? This is what I see in Log Viewer.

We are licensed.

But that's a real oversight if you can't use the Syslog Viewer on the server anymore but then remove all of the functionality on the product that replaces it unless you pay for it?!

I need to provide some syslogs for a TAC case and currently I'm unable to do so.

So far, I'm not seeing any value in Log Analyzer
