SNMP traffic and using QoS for it.

Question

Is anyone using QoS for their SNMP traffic from Solarwinds?

On a point-to-point circuit like a T1, does this cause any interference to other T1s? Isn't QoS policing per interface?

Just doing some fact finding before trying to implement this. Our SNMP is getting dropped due to high utilization.

You can sure do that.  We actually do it ourselves

But even with QOS if your circuit gets saturated enough you will drop traffic anyway, it would just be some of the last traffic to be dropped.
