The Weather Map In Orion

So I was crusing thru the forums and came across a great way to set up your map, so that it displays the current weather status on your network map, thanks Mithril for showing us this.

I have one problem though its not working for me. I have been able to get thru all the steps and have all the files in the current locations, the batch file created and located in the correct location and configured correctly. The one thing its not doing for me is updating my network map to reflect the weather movement, or updating the time line, which I think the *.png file is suppose to do. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Does it work if you manually run the batch file?

The first thing I would try is editing the batch file and remove the 'composite' line.

Once you've done that run the batch file and see if it updates the image in the directory. Try it a few times and make sure it's updating (look at the Date Modified field in details view).

Let me know if it updates properly.

It appears that when I run the batch file it deletes the old file and doesnt put a new one in, Im left with a big circle as a map. I did take out the composite line, but still same results. here are the results of the weather.bat

As for the no-matte.png file I'll try to upload it again in the morning.

Hello there,

I realize this is an old thread now but mine map was working fine until I upgraded to Orion 9.5.1. When I run the batch file I see the updated weather.wmf map in the directory but it is not uploading to my Solarwinds site. Is there something new with 9.5.1 that I have to turn on for it to show on the website?
