I created a new profile with all access except admin rights. However, users in this group cannot modify nodes. Am I missing something? I'm using active directory groups to assign user rights to selected accounts.
Did you check if there are some sort of limitations set on the account?
I know you've already have this but will you confirm if this is set to YES?
Yes, it is set to yes.
Everything is allowed, except admin rights.
Are there any account or view limitations set that would hinder the user's ability to manage a node?
Is there an error that the user gets when attempting to edit a node? Please provide a screenshot if so.

There are no limitations and the rights are granted. There are no limitations either.
Is it possible that the user is also in an AD group that doesn't have the proper rights (along with the AD group that does have the rights)? Since you've got all the right drop downs put to "Yes", the only thing that makes sense to me would be that the user is in two conflicting AD groups and the "no node mgmt" group is winning the battle for supremacy.
From your screenshot it looks like you are still using an older version of Orion. Why not have Support take a look at your issue so they can determine this. I also have NPM 11.0.1 and did a test by creating a dummy account and mine works without that restriction..
Hello Brandon,
I checked that already and the user belongs to one group only. I also created a test account and adding it to the specified group and it still doesn't work.
As a test add him in as a Windows individual account and see what happens.
