Network Performance Monitor (NPM)
Ethernet Interface percent utilization 0%
Olivier_1968
Hi everybody,
We used Orion v7.2 and we have a problem with monitoring Ethernet interface.
In the detail of my internet interface the values "Received percent utilization" and Transmit percent utilisation" stay to 0% !!!!
All other values for the internet interface (transmit bps, transmit packet ...) seems to be correct.
Anyone has an idea ?
Thanks in advance
Olivier

Within System Manager, check the Transmit and Receive bandwidth settings of those interfaces. Network Performance Monitor discovers the port speed from the router/switch, but if the router/switch report 0 bps as the port speed, then you will get 0% utilization.
You can change the port speed by right-clicking on the interface and selecting "Interface Details".

Hi there. I'm facing the same problems with all myu interfaces be it router, switch or Servers. I'm testing out the ORION 7.8 beta.
I've checked and confirmed that the Interface B/W settings are correct. They are not set to zero. I hope anyone can help me out with this. thanks
