NPM Web console settings.

Question

Hi,

Our Solarwinds server has two seperate network interfaces connected to different networks.

Devices are being monitored and polled on both networks but the NPM web console is only on one of the interfaces.

How can I change the settings so that users can use the other interface to view the NPM web page and effectively allow users on both networks to view, but obviously they would each specify a different address to browse to.

Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

Select Orion NPM. Click Change and select the Repair option in the wizard.

Once done, reapply the latest SP on your server.

Hi,

I can't seem to be able to launch the Configuration Wizard.

There doesn't seem to be anything in \Program File\SolarWinds\Orion

Is is possible that it has been uninstalled?  How can I reinstall it?

Hi,

Can you try to do the following?

Start > All Programs > SolarWinds Orion > Configuration and Auto-Discovery > Configuration Wizard.

Select WebSite option and click on Next.

Configure the IP Address to "All Unassigned" instead of binding a specific IP.

Click on Next. Say Yes when it asks you to use the same website and click on Next.
