Quick Orion Question

Question

Hi,

We would like to test Orion Network Monitor.

Basically one of the features we would like to have is the ability to show the webpage on a Plasma TV and any alerts, errors, nodes going down, etc. are shown on there.  Having had a look through this product I wondered if this is the right product to use?

Any ideas or recommendations?

When you configure your Orion user accounts, you can set whether or not it will play sounds for that account. As long as you have the "Nodes with Problems" / "Down Applications" modules on your screen, you should be able to work something out.

We created a custom view in Orion to display on a 50" plasma tv, setup with a special guest account configured as I mentioned above. It's worked fine for us so far.

What I was specifically wanting was not the ability to change screens on a website view (i.e. rotate the screens) as we use a program called Swapper to do that.

What I was specifically after was the ability to have alerts live on the screen.  Is this something that can be setup (i.e. a list of nodes if one goes down it plays a sound effect and moves to the top of the screen)?
