Upgrade TFTP Server to latest rev

Question

It looks like Cirrus uses a different version of the tftp server program. We're trying to upgrade it to the latest code (so we have large file support) - but when we run the solarwinds-tftp-server.exe installer, it stops saying that TFTP server is already installed.

Alas, we cannot find any place to un-install it.

FWIW, Orion, engineers toolkit, and netflow are on the same box.

Any ideas?

Currently, the Toolset TFTP Server and Free TFTP Server have been updated to accept hot fixes.  The next major release of Cirrus will be updated to accept to accept hot fixes, as well.  At this point, I recommend running either the updated Toolset TFTP Server or the Free TFTP Server.

Okay, but where's the hotfix for Cirrus to update the TFTP code? You've got hotfixes to fix (including the security hole) for all the other products...  cannot we have a simple hotfix to patch up Cirrus TFTP? Seeing as we use it top push IOS upgrades out, it kinda makes sense (Yow!).

You can obtain the latest updates to the free TFTP Server and the Toolset TFTP server by either downloading the latest free TFTP Server from the Downloads section on our website or by downloading the Toolset hotfix from the Customer Portal under Downloads > Hot Fixes.
