Importing CiscoWorks Templates into NCM!

Is there a way to import templates from ciscoworks into NCM. I have several templates we want to integrate into NCM Policy Reporter. Ciscoworks has their templates exported into .xml files and was wondering if I have to convert this into another format so NCM can read it.

All I can say is that this is a feature we're working on right now - and it's at the top of the list. It's frustrating, I know, but we can't be any more specific than that because of various rules (explained here). It will definitely be coming up as soon as possible, but I'd look for it in the next release or two, not in a service pack. We typically don't put new functionality and features in a service pack.

Import and export of policy reports/policies is something we're working on right now, as a matter of fact. So, not yet, but stay tuned, that is coming right up.

Is that coming up on the next service pack? I know there are a couple of us who would like to have this capability handy. Is it even possible to get the xml that cisco saves and have it converted into some sort of sql script. Thanks..

We have recently installed NCM, NTA, NPM, etc...

I have been asked by the NOC folks how do they import/convert their existing CiscoWorks templates into NCM. I have searched this site and the knowledge base. The only thing I found about importing CiscoWorks templates is...this one.

Is there a documented procedure for importing existing CiscoWorks templates? The "correct answer" published in May of 2010 says it's coming...is it here yet but hidden?

Does anyone have a procedure for this? I imagine that we are not the only ones faced with this task while switching to NCM.
